About Position
The New Business Development Manager works to maximize new business and provide recommendations for new services for existing accounts. The New Business Development Manager reports to the partners of Modern Information Solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish relationships with industry influencers and key strategic partners
- Responsible for locating new business opportunities for Modern Information Solutions, by visiting existing and new customers
- See the sales process from start to finish including business meetings, proposal creation, rolling projects out to team and providing introduction to clients
- Develop and implement strategic marketing plans and sales plans and forecasts to achieve corporate objectives for all service offerings
- Track and report on the status of all leads on a monthly basis
- Prepare quarterly sales reports showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed client base expansion
- Monitor competitor offerings, sales and marketing activities to ensure Modern Information Solutions is offering competitive service offerings and pricing

Education and Experience
- 3+ years of industry (legal, technology or both) or related position experience
- Experience with Sugar CRM (or similar CRM database) a plus
